Snipnests Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 19, 2026. This policy explains how Snipnests handles data.
Data Handling
Snipnests stores imported screenshots, OCR text, tags, and notes locally on the Mac. The app does not sell data or use tracking. User-selected file access is used only for chosen imports, watched folders, or exports.
Information You Choose
The app may store content you create, import, record, select, or export. That information remains under your control on your Mac unless you use macOS sharing, export, backup, or cloud-sync features outside the app.
Tracking and Third Parties
Snipnests does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Permissions
The app requests macOS permissions only for features that need them, such as user-selected files, microphone recording, Accessibility, or input monitoring where applicable.
