Phrasepocket Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026. This policy explains how Phrasepocket handles data.
Summary
Phrasepocket is a fully offline app. It does not connect to the internet, does not collect analytics, and does not share any information with third parties. No account is required.
Data You Enter
Phrasepocket stores the following information locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults:
- Your chosen language — the language you last selected in the language picker.
- Starred favorites — the IDs of phrases you have starred, stored in most-recently-used order.
- Speech rate preference — your chosen speaking speed for text-to-speech playback.
- Haptic feedback preference — whether haptic feedback is enabled or disabled.
This data never leaves your device. When you use the Cheat Sheet Export feature, you choose where the text goes via the iOS share sheet — Phrasepocket does not send it anywhere automatically.
Network Access
Phrasepocket makes no network connections of any kind. All 250 phrases, 12 languages, and pronunciation guides are bundled with the app and work entirely offline.
Analytics and Tracking
Phrasepocket does not use any analytics SDK, crash reporter, or advertising framework. It does not track you across apps or websites.
Permissions
Phrasepocket requests no system permissions — no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, Bluetooth, or motion sensors are accessed.
Children
Phrasepocket does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. No account is ever created or required.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because the app collects no data, changes are unlikely to affect you in any meaningful way.
