Mileglow Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026. This policy explains how Mileglow handles data.
Data Handling
Mileglow is an on-device app. Your trips, vehicles, IRS rate preferences, favorite places, and templates are stored locally on your device unless you export or share them through standard system features.
No Collection or Tracking
Mileglow does not collect personal data, does not use analytics SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, shows no ads, and contains no in-app purchases. There is no account and no backend service. The app does not connect to the internet.
No Location or GPS
Mileglow does not use GPS or location services and contains no location entitlement. Mileage is entered manually, by design, so there is no location data to collect.
Bundled Reference Data
Mileglow includes offline reference data — the IRS standard mileage rates for 2018 through 2026 and a "Mileage & Tax Basics" guide. This data is read-only, ships inside the app, and does not collect or transmit any information. Deduction figures are estimates of the standard-mileage deduction, not tax advice — confirm specifics with the IRS or a qualified tax professional.
Export and Sharing
PDF and CSV exports are generated on device. Files leave your device only when you choose where to share or save them using the standard iOS share sheet.
Permissions
Mileglow does not request location, camera, contacts, or notification permissions. It works entirely offline with no special permissions.
