A live search bar finds trips instantly by client name, notes, or route (From/To). Filter by purpose — business, medical, charity, personal, or all — and set a date range with quick picks for This Month, This Year, or Last Year. Combine filters freely: drill straight to all Acme business trips in Q1. Active filters are highlighted so you always know what you are looking at. Swipe left on any trip to delete it in one gesture.
A new By Client view on the Report tab groups your miles and estimated deduction by the client or place on each trip. See which client drove the most deductible activity at a glance — useful for billing mileage reimbursements to clients, allocating driving costs across jobs, or simply knowing where your wheels go. Trips with no client are grouped separately so nothing is lost.
Mileglow bundles the IRS standard mileage rates from 2018 through 2026 and stamps each trip with the rate for its own year, including the mid-year 2022 change. A December 2025 drive uses 70 cents and a 2026 drive uses 72.5 cents (Notice 2026-10) — you never mix up which year used which rate. Prefer your own numbers? Custom rates are one toggle away.
Export an IRS-ready PDF mileage log — formatted and paginated, with the four IRS-required elements per trip, annual totals, the odometer span, and a rate-source note — or a spreadsheet-ready CSV for your accountant. Both are generated on device and shared only where you choose.
Capture what an audit actually wants: date, from-and-to destination, business purpose, and miles, plus an optional odometer reading and a round-trip flag. Tolls and parking are logged separately and added on top of the per-mile rate, so your estimate is not understated.
