Privacy Policy

Massweft is an offline mzML evidence-review app published by Robert Corbin.

Data we collect

Massweft does not collect personal data, laboratory files, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, purchase history, precise location, contacts, or advertising data. The app contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, tracking technology, account system, or developer-operated cloud service.

Imported files and local records

Files selected through Apple's Files picker are copied into the app's local container. Parsed run evidence, source metadata, SHA-256 digests, and the local run library remain on the device. Massweft does not transmit imported mzML files or derived evidence to Robert Corbin.

File metadata

Massweft reads modification timestamps only for files stored in its own app container to present local library information. The bundled privacy manifest declares Apple's approved File Timestamp reason C617.1.

Exports

Users may generate PDF, JSON, or CSV evidence files and choose a destination through the system share sheet. Massweft does not choose, inspect, or operate that destination. The selected destination and its privacy terms govern the exported copy.

Network access

The core app does not require a network connection and does not upload laboratory data, run evidence, or usage information.

Retention and deletion

Imported runs and local evidence remain on the device until the user removes them or deletes the app and its data. Exported files are controlled by the user and the selected destination.

Children

Massweft is a specialist scientific utility and is not directed to children. Because the app collects no data, it does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Privacy or support questions may be sent to support@shadowfetch.com.
