Common Questions
Does Manifold move my app windows?
No. Manifold is a manual reference planner. It does not open, move, resize, activate, inspect, or control other apps or windows.
How do I make a scene more ready?
Add clear region labels, avoid overlapping regions, improve coverage, write scene notes, add checklist steps, and save a snapshot after refining the layout.
How do I export a Session Brief?
Open the export menu for a scene or the full library and choose Session Brief. The app writes a Markdown file through the standard macOS save dialog.
How do snapshots work?
Snapshots save a copy of the current planned regions so you can preserve alternate layouts or compare versions of a scene over time.
How do I create a scene from a template?
Press Command-Shift-T or click the Templates button, choose a starter workspace, then edit the notes, checklist, and regions to fit your actual workflow.
Where is my data stored?
Scene data is stored locally in your Mac app container using SwiftData. Use Export if you want a backup or a handoff file.
