Getting started

Create a script with ⌘N, add steps, fill out properties, then use Readiness to check whether the runbook is complete enough for handoff.

Run history

Click the History button in any script's detail view to see past runs, completion count, elapsed time, per-step timing, estimate accuracy, and any run note.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?
All scripts and run history are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Loomscript/loomscripts.json on your Mac. Nothing is sent to any server.

What does the readiness score mean?
The readiness score is an on-device quality check. It looks for common runbook gaps such as missing step detail, stale verification, missing critical checkpoints, decision steps without choices, and timed steps without estimates.

How do I export a workflow?
Open a script, then click Export in the detail toolbar, or use File > Export Script as Markdown (⇧⌘E). A Save dialog will appear. Choose a location and the script definition is saved as a .md file. You can also export printable SOPs and JSON library backups.

How do I export a run report?
Open Run History for the script (History button), find the run, and click the share icon on the right. A Save dialog will appear for the .md report.

How do I duplicate a script?
Right-click the script in the sidebar and choose Duplicate, or use ⇧⌘D. A copy is added below the original with fresh IDs and no run history.

How do I filter by tag?
Add comma-separated tags in any script's Tags field. The tag bar at the top of the sidebar will update automatically — click a tag pill to filter the list.

Does the app require an account?
No. Loomscripts is fully offline and requires no account.

How do I remove the app?
Quit the app, drag it from Applications to the Trash. To also remove saved data, delete ~/Library/Application Support/Loomscript/.
