Loomscript Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026. This policy explains how Loomscript handles your data.
Summary
Loomscript is a fully offline Mac app. It stores your workflow scripts, readiness information, run history, step timing, branch choices, and run notes locally on your Mac. It makes no network connections, collects no personal data, and shares nothing with third parties.
Data you create
Script titles, summaries, categories, tags, step text, critical flags, estimates, verification dates, recurrence settings, run history, branch choices, and run notes are stored in a JSON file at ~/Library/Application Support/Loomscript/loomscripts.json. This file stays on your Mac unless you explicitly export it or move it yourself.
Exported files
When you export a script definition, run report, printable SOP, or library JSON file, you choose the save location via the macOS Save dialog. The resulting file is yours — the app does not retain a separate copy or track what you export.
Permissions
Loomscript requests only macOS sandbox file access for user-selected imports and exports. This is used solely when you choose a file or save location in a system dialog. The app does not request microphone, camera, Accessibility, Input Monitoring, location, contacts, or any network entitlement.
No tracking or analytics
Loomscript does not use third-party SDKs, does not include advertising frameworks, and does not track you across apps or websites. No usage data, crash reports, or diagnostics are sent anywhere.
No account required
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. No email address or identity information is collected at any time.
Children
The app does not collect any data from any user, including children.
