InkAtlas Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026. This policy explains how InkAtlas handles your data.
No Data Collection
InkAtlas does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app makes no network requests. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, and no advertising framework of any kind.
On-Device Storage
Everything you enter in InkAtlas — pen records, ink bottles, paper entries, combo ratings, rotation logs, ink sample notes, wishlist items, and notebook entries — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData in the app's private sandbox. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export and share it yourself.
CSV Export
When you tap "Export atlas as CSV" in Settings, InkAtlas writes a temporary file to your device's local temp directory and presents it through the iOS share sheet. You control where the file goes. InkAtlas does not send it anywhere automatically.
Photos and Camera
InkAtlas asks for photo library or camera access only when you explicitly tap to attach a photo to a pen, ink, paper, or combo entry. If you grant access, the image is stored locally inside the app's data. No images are uploaded or shared without your action.
Tracking
InkAtlas does not track users across apps or websites. The app declares ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = false and contains no encryption beyond iOS system libraries.
Deleting Your Data
You can erase all your data at any time using Settings → Data → Clear all data. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data permanently.
Children
InkAtlas is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
