Echoroom Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026. This policy explains how Echoroom handles data.
Data Handling
Echoroom runs entirely on your device. It does not have accounts, ads, tracking, analytics, or in-app purchases, and it does not connect to any network. No personal data is collected, sold, or shared.
Microphone
Microphone access is used only while you tap Measure, so the app can play a short calibration click and listen for the room's decay. Audio is processed live in memory to compute the reverb estimate. Echoroom does not record audio to disk and does not transmit audio anywhere.
What Is Stored
When you choose to save a measurement, Echoroom stores the computed results — reverb time, octave-band values, clarity metrics, the decay curve, an optional room-target tag, and any note you type — in a local file on your device. These are calculated numbers, not recordings. You can delete any measurement, or all of them, at any time from within the app. The bundled material, room-target, and glossary reference data ship inside the app and are read-only.
Tracking and Third Parties
Echoroom does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and includes no tracking domains.
Sharing and Export
If you choose to export a report image or a CSV of your measurements, those files are created on your device and handed to the system share sheet so you decide where they go. The app itself sends nothing — no data leaves your device except through your own deliberate share action.
Room Mode Calculator
The room mode calculator operates entirely on the dimensions you type in. No location data is used, and no room geometry is stored or transmitted.
