What's New in 1.2

Version 1.2 adds two genuinely new tools on top of the 1.1 acoustics toolkit:

Room mode calculator — enter your room's length, width, and height to see every axial, tangential, and oblique bass resonance up to 300 Hz (adjustable to 500 Hz). A frequency-map chart shows where modes cluster. The Schroeder frequency line marks where the room transitions from modal to diffuse behaviour. A Louden dimension-ratio grade (Excellent / Good / Fair / Poor) rates your room shape against the published optimal ratios that produce the most evenly distributed standing waves. Clustered adjacent modes are flagged because they cause pronounced bass peaks that are hard to treat without specific absorption.
Export measurements as CSV — share all saved readings as a spreadsheet, including per-band RT60 at all six octave centres, C50, C80, EDT, D50, Ts, SNR, trial count, room target name, and note. Export from Settings with a single tap; the file goes wherever you send it via the system share sheet.
4 new room targets: Home Cinema (ITU-R BS.1116 / THX reference, 0.25–0.45 s), Open Office (ISO 3382-3, ≤0.6 s), Gym / Fitness Studio (0.8–1.6 s), and Corridor / Lobby (0.8–1.5 s).
Expanded glossary: 50 terms (was 36), adding room mode / standing wave, Louden ratios, mode clustering, pressure zone, STI, Helmholtz resonator, perforated panel absorber, specular vs diffuse reflection, air absorption, and more.

Built to Stay Private

Everything runs on device. Echoroom plays a short calibration click and listens only while you tap Measure. Audio is processed live and is never recorded to disk or transmitted. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, and no in-app purchases. The bundled material, room-target, and glossary data ship inside the app and need no network. CSV exports are created on your device and handed to the share sheet — the app itself sends nothing.
