Earshots Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026. This policy explains how Earshots handles data.
Data Handling
Earshots stores recordings, transcripts, bookmarks, tags, generated notes, and Follow-Up Ledger content locally on the Mac. Microphone access is used only for customer-started recordings. The app does not sell personal data or use third-party tracking.
Information You Choose
The app may store content you create, import, record, select, or export. That information remains under your control on your Mac unless you use macOS sharing, export, backup, or cloud-sync features outside the app.
Tracking and Third Parties
Earshots does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Permissions
The app requests microphone and speech recognition permission for recording and transcription. User-selected export locations are handled through the standard macOS save panel.
