Mac App  ·  Version 2.1

Earshot

A private Mac meeting recorder that turns local transcripts into decisions, actions, risks, questions, and export-ready meeting briefs.

What it does

Record any Mac audio input, get a live on-device transcript, then review a local Follow-Up Ledger with decisions, action items, risks, questions, bookmarks, tags, notes, and exports.

Version 2.1 highlights

  • Follow-Up Ledger for decisions, actions, risks, and questions
  • Timestamp links back to the transcript when speech timing is available
  • Cleaner action extraction that avoids questions and decisions as false to-dos
  • Markdown, plain text, PDF, JSON, CSV, SRT, and WebVTT export
  • Brief-first review UI with timeline evidence directly below
Ledger
Meeting follow-up brief

Open a completed meeting and see decisions, actions, risks, and questions first. Each item stays local and can be traced back to transcript timing when word segments are available.

Analysis
On-device review tools

Review meeting stats, delivery pace, filler words, tone cues, topics, decisions, questions, bookmarks, and the timestamped timeline without sending meeting data to a cloud account.

Export
Portable meeting records

Save a meeting as Markdown, plain text, PDF, JSON, CSV, SRT, or WebVTT. Copy the Follow-Up Ledger by itself when you only need the next-step brief.
