Beginbeat Privacy Policy

Data Handling
Beginbeat is designed as an on-device productivity app. Task titles, Quick Starts, streaks, optional ratings, optional notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using UserDefaults.
Information You Create
The app stores the task titles you enter, the time you started them, selected focus-block lengths, optional notes, optional ratings, pinned Quick Starts, and settings. You can erase local history from Settings.
Micro-steps
When Apple Foundation Models are available and enabled, the micro-step line is generated on device. When unavailable or disabled, Beginbeat uses a local fallback library bundled in the app. Task text is not sent to an external task-processing server.
Tracking and Third Parties
Beginbeat does not track users across apps or websites. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are linked into the app.
Network Access
Beginbeat does not require an account or server. Live Activities are updated locally through ActivityKit.
Permissions
No microphone, camera, location, contacts, or photo library access is requested or used.
