Runs on device from local history. The countdown pairs with one concrete micro-step so a large task becomes a smaller action. When Foundation Models are available, the step is generated on device; otherwise the app uses its bundled fallback library.
No external task-processing server.Choose 45, 60, or 90 seconds. The timer uses subtle tactile feedback and a visible ring to make the start feel immediate.
Pin recurring tasks and restart useful history items without retyping. The start flow stays consistent whether the task is typed, pinned, or planned.
After the countdown, choose a 2, 5, 10, or 25 minute block, or finish with the Done path. Optional notes and ratings can be added afterward.
The timer can stay visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while it runs. Updates are local ActivityKit updates.
See how many days in a row you started at least one task, with history capped to keep the app fast and focused.
Beginbeat surfaces your strongest days and time windows so future starts can be planned around what has worked before.
Optional ratings help compare expectations with the actual feeling after starting. They remain local to the device.
Add short notes after a countdown or focus block and expand them later from history.
Beginbeat stores task titles, settings, notes, ratings, streaks, and Quick Starts locally. It does not use accounts, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking SDKs, or external task-processing servers.
