Vault Verity
Document expiry reminders
A life-admin safety net for documents, expirations, and trusted-contact notes.
What it does
Vault Verity is a private document inventory for ordinary life admin: passports, insurance, licenses, warranties, IDs, and trusted-contact notes.
This version keeps the scope honest. It stores user-entered records locally, reminds users what expires, and exports a plain packet for personal review.
New in 1.2 — renewal intelligence
Vault Verity now tells you when to start renewing, not just when a document expires. Every document shows a recommended “Renew by” date computed offline from a bundled, source-cited lead-time guide for its type — passports also get a six-month buffer because most destinations require six months of validity past your entry date.
- Renewal queue with traffic-light status. The Today tab ranks open documents by how soon you must act — Expired, Act now, Plan now, On track — each color-coded.
- Household members. Assign an owner to any document and filter your Library by person, with per-person counts in the Toolkit.
- Renewal plan export. Share a clean plan of open documents ordered by urgency, each with its renew-by date and cited source. CSV and the full packet now include type, owner, renew-by date, and status.
- Built-in renewal reference. An in-app guide lists every lead time with its official U.S. source (State Dept., CBP, USCIS, TSA, state DMVs). General planning guidance, not legal advice.
Still 100% offline — no account, no ads, no tracking. All data stays on your device.
Earlier value
Earlier builds added searchable sorting, editable records, Toolkit templates, a smart brief, detail scoring, category spread, and both plain-text and CSV export.
This version is a focused utility with sample data for review and no account requirement.
Sample records are included so App Review can test the core flow immediately.
