Chromatic Tuner & Metronome

TonalSnap

Tune by ear or by needle, practice in any alternate tuning, save your practice setups, and ramp your tempo automatically. Two musicians' tools done right — all offline, no account.

Practice Presets New

Save a named snapshot of your current instrument, tuning, tempo, time signature, and subdivision. Switch between "DADGAD at 90 BPM" and "Drop D at 132 BPM" with a single tap — no re-entering six settings every time you change pieces.

Flat/Sharp Display New

Toggle between sharp (A#, D#, G#) and flat (Bb, Eb, Ab) note names in Settings. Applies to the tuner readout and the Reference Tone panel. Keyboard players and horn players who read in flats can finally see their preferred spelling.

Instrument-Aware Reference Tone New

The Reference Tone panel now shows the octave range that actually matters for your instrument: bass players get octaves 1–3, guitar 2–5, violin 3–6. No more scrolling past out-of-range pitches.

Live Chromatic Tuner

Fast YIN pitch detection with a curved cents gauge, green glow when you're in tune, and open-string dots that highlight the nearest peg. Adjustable A4 reference (415–466 Hz).

Alternate Tunings

Ten guitar tunings (Drop D, Open G, DADGAD, Eb Standard, and more), three bass tunings, three ukulele tunings, and three violin scordatura tunings — all built in. The string dots update to your actual open-string targets the moment you switch.

Reference Tone / Pitch Pipe

Play a sustained synthesized tone for any note. Tune your instrument by ear — match to the drone instead of watching the needle. Concertmaster-aware: respects your A4 calibration setting.

Tempo Trainer

Set a start and target tempo, a BPM step, and how many bars to hold each level. The metronome advances automatically on every N-th downbeat. A progress bar shows where you are in the ramp; a haptic fires when you reach the target.

Drift-Free Metronome

Absolute-deadline scheduling — never drifts over long sessions. 30–300 BPM, time signatures 1–12, quarter/eighth/triplet/sixteenth subdivisions, accented downbeat, tap tempo.

Haptic-First & Private

Strong downbeat haptic, soft offbeat, in-tune chirp. Dark instrument-panel design. Audio is analyzed live on your device and never recorded or sent anywhere. No account, no ads, no tracking.
