Support

Shift Swap Liaison support.

For help with shift cards, QR codes and links, the Shift Value estimator, your My Shifts history, calendar export, or message templates, email support with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened.

Getting started without an account

Shift Swap Liaison never asks you to sign up. Enter your default name, email, and manager once in Settings, then create a shift card and share the app-only QR code or link into the group chat you already use.

How does a coworker claim a shift?

They open your shared link or scan the QR code inside Shift Swap Liaison. They accept or decline on the claim screen, and the app prepares a confirmation back to you and, on acceptance, to the manager.

Why does the link only open in the app?

The shift details are packaged into an app-only link so they open directly on the claim screen. If a teammate taps the link without the app installed, they will need to install Shift Swap Liaison first.

Why does Shift Swap Liaison ask for camera access?

Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a shift QR code. You can also paste a link from the clipboard instead.

Why does it ask for calendar access?

Calendar access is requested only when you tap Add to Calendar. Shift Swap Liaison uses write-only access to add the shift and never reads your existing events. You can also share the shift as an .ics file without granting access.

Is the Shift Value estimate my exact pay?

No. The estimator uses your base rate plus typical differential ranges and federal overtime rules for planning only. It is informational and not legal or financial advice. Your real pay depends on your employer, contract, and local law.

Where is my shift history stored?

Your My Shifts ledger, pay assumptions, and defaults are stored locally on your device. You can export the ledger to CSV at any time and clear it whenever you want.

Does Shift Swap Liaison approve swaps for me?

No. It prepares the messages and confirmations, but you and your manager remain in control of approving and finalizing any swap.
