Radar Not LoadingRadar imagery requires a network connection. Check your connection, then tap Retry. The app shows the last cached radar when offline.
Satellite IR DimmedThe Satellite IR toggle is greyed out when the current RainViewer response doesn't include infrared frames. This is normal — try again in a few minutes or check radar coverage for your region.
Precipitation Intensity GuideTap the "i" button on the main map screen (top bar, right side) to open the offline precipitation guide. It shows the full 8-level NWS dBZ scale and a color paint guide matched to your active palette. You can also open it from Settings > About > Precipitation intensity guide.
Distance RingsGo to Settings and enable Distance Rings. Choose Close-in (25 / 50 / 100 mi) or Wide-area (50 / 100 / 200 mi). Rings are dashed white circles centered on the map's current view. The unit (miles or km) is set automatically from your device locale.
Saved LocationsTap the magnifying glass, search for a place, then tap the bookmark icon next to a result to save it. Open your saved list by tapping the bookmark button in the top bar. Swipe left to delete, tap the pencil to rename.
Share Not WorkingThe share button captures the current radar screen on-device. If the share sheet doesn't appear, check that iOS has not restricted share functionality for the app in Settings.
LocationIf the map doesn't center on you, check Location permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Radar Glance. Set to "While Using."
SafetyUse official weather alerts and local authorities for emergency decisions. Radar Glance is general weather awareness only.
