Quietmark Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026. This policy explains how Quietmark handles your data.
Data Handling
Quietmark is an on-device utility. All noise entries, photos, notes, and settings you create are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them through the standard iOS share sheet.
Microphone
The microphone is used only during deliberate capture sessions that you start by tapping the Capture button. The app records to a temporary file solely to access AVAudioRecorder metering values; that file is deleted immediately when the capture ends. No audio is saved to disk, no audio is uploaded anywhere.
Photo Library
Photo library access is requested only if you tap "Add a photo" when saving a new entry. The chosen image is stored locally inside the app's Documents folder as a JPEG. Photos are never uploaded.
Tracking and Third Parties
Quietmark does not track users across apps or websites, does not include third-party analytics SDKs, and does not use advertising identifiers.
Exports
When you generate a PDF or CSV and share it via the iOS share sheet, the content goes wherever you direct it (Mail, Files, Messages, etc.). Quietmark itself does not transmit your data.
