Getting started

Open Plinth from the menu bar or main window, copy useful text, then search and paste from the palette with Command-Shift-V.

Exposure Audit

Open Insights to review the local exposure score. Use Settings to remove flagged unpinned clips or clear history.

Common questions

Does the app require an account?
No. Plinth is designed for local Mac use.

Where is my data stored?
Clipboard history, snippets, collections, and settings stay on your Mac unless you export or share them yourself.

Can I stop specific apps from being captured?
Yes. Open Settings and add apps to the Excluded apps list.

How do I remove sensitive clips?
Open Settings and use Remove flagged unpinned clips, Remove duplicates, or Clear all history.

How do I remove the app?
Quit Plinth, delete it from Applications, and clear its saved data from your user Library if you want to remove local history too.
