Pickleline: Line-Call Replay
A private, on-device instant-replay and score-keeping tool for pickleball. Records a rolling 5-second camera buffer so you can review a contested line call at quarter speed — and now keeps the score for the whole match, stamped right onto every disputed clip.
How it works
Point your phone at the baseline, tap Capture on any contested call, and watch the last 5 seconds back at 0.1x, 0.25x, 0.5x, or full speed. Start a match on the Score tab and the live score is stamped onto every clip — so your library shows exactly where in the game each disputed call happened. Clips auto-delete after 60 minutes unless you pin them. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Version 1.3 — What's New
- Score tab — full on-court score keeper for doubles and singles in traditional side-out or rally scoring. Tracks server number, serve side, and displays the score in USA Pickleball announce format ("4-5-1"). Configurable game point (11, 15, or 21).
- Score stamp on clips — when a match is active, every clip you capture is automatically stamped with the live score. Visible in the library row, the replay player, and the camera HUD.
- Rally history — full play-by-play history for the current game with score snapshots, serving team, server number, and serve side. Undo the last rally at any time. Match persists across app launches.
Score Keeper
The Score tab handles the whole match alongside your replay workflow — no second app needed. It follows USA Pickleball Rule 4.B for side-out scoring (first server of game = server 2; serve position by score parity) and supports rally scoring per the provisional 2024 rules.
Live score display in announce format:
4 – 5 – 1
serving score – receiving score – server number
- Doubles and singles
- Traditional side-out and rally scoring
- Server number and serve side tracked automatically
- Game to 11, 15, or 21 — win by 2
- Full rally-by-rally history with undo
- Match persists across app restarts
Score Stamp on Clips
When a match is active, every clip captured on the Camera tab gets the live score stamped on it automatically — displayed as a badge in the library list, as an overlay badge in the replay player, and in the camera HUD so you can see the current score at a glance while you film.
A clip captured at game point with the score at "10-9-2" is clearly different from one at "0-1-1". Context that used to live only in your memory is now part of the clip record.
Shot Tags and Replay Coach

Privacy
Pickleline records video only when you're in the Camera tab. Clips live in your device's cache folder — iOS reclaims them if storage runs low. Untagged, unpinned clips auto-delete after 60 minutes. There are no accounts, no cloud upload, and no analytics. Last updated June 14, 2026.
