Intervo

Intervo does not collect personal data, does not track users, does not show ads, and does not require an account.

Data collection

Intervo stores your workouts, completed session history, and preferences locally on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults. The developer does not receive your workouts, session logs, settings, or any device identifiers.

Workout history (added in version 1.2)

Completed workout sessions are recorded on-device to power the History screen (streak, weekly time, session log). This data never leaves your device and is not associated with any account or identifier. You can delete individual sessions at any time from within the app.

Tracking and ads

Intervo does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or tracking domains. The app does not sell or share user data.

Network use

Intervo is fully offline. It makes no network requests and operates without any developer-operated backend or account. App Store purchase and download activity is handled by Apple.

Health and workout note

Intervo is an interval timer. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose health conditions, and does not send workout data to the developer or to Apple Health.

Speech synthesis (added in version 1.2)

When "Speak phase names" is enabled, Intervo uses on-device AVSpeechSynthesizer to speak step names aloud at phase boundaries. This runs entirely on-device with no network calls. The text spoken is only the step name you typed (e.g. "Burpees", "Rest"). No speech audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

History export (added in version 1.2)

The History screen can generate a CSV file of your session log for sharing via the iOS share sheet (AirDrop, Mail, etc.). The file is written to a local temporary directory and is not transmitted to the developer. What you share with third parties (email, cloud storage) is your choice and outside the app's control.
