Haptic-first interval timer for iPhone and iPad

Intervo

A focused HIIT and interval timer built for people who want to move, not stare at a screen.

Pick a built-in workout or create your own work, rest, recovery, and cooldown blocks. Intervo uses distinct haptics, audio cues, a drift-free wall-clock timer, and a bold full-screen runner so every phase change is unmissable — even mid-burpee.

One-time paid app. No account, ads, or tracking.

What's new in version 1.2

  • Speak phase names — enable "Speak phase names" in Settings and Intervo calls out each step's name at every transition ("Burpees", "Sprint", "Rest"). Train completely heads-up, eyes off the screen.
  • Export your history as CSV — tap the share icon in History to export your full session log. Open it in Numbers, Excel, or email it to your coach. Includes date, time, workout, duration, rounds, and sets.
  • Workout History — every completed session is saved on-device. See your streak, total sessions, and weekly training time in the new History screen.
  • Seven new built-in templates — Gibala 10×1, Billat 30/30, Ladder, Pyramid, MMA Rounds, Strength Circuit, and Cool-Down Flow, based on published training research.
  • Completion count on the Finish screen — after each run, see how many times you've done that specific workout.

What it does

Train eyes-off NEW

Enable "Speak phase names" and Intervo calls out every step name out loud. Burpees, sprints, rest — you'll always know what's next without glancing at the screen.

Keep your playlist

Cues briefly duck your music or mix over it — your choice in Settings.

Build any workout

Add steps (work, rest, recover, cooldown, prepare), drag to reorder, set durations to the second, and repeat the whole block up to 20 times.

Drift-free clock

Anchored to wall-clock time — switch apps, take a call, come back and it's exactly where it should be.

Track your history

Every finished run is logged. See your streak, weekly minutes, and how often you've done each workout.

Export as CSV NEW

Share your full session log from the History screen. Open in Numbers or Excel, or email it to your coach.

Built-in templates

Every template is an editable copy — use it as-is or tweak it to fit your training. Timing is based on published protocols where applicable.

Train without looking NEW IN 1.1

Turn on Speak phase names in Settings and Intervo speaks each step's name aloud the moment it begins — "Burpees", "Sprint", "Hip Flexor", "Rest". Your custom step names travel with you. No glancing at the screen mid-set, no missed transitions, no confusion about what comes next.

Speech uses on-device synthesis (no network required) and works alongside the existing tone cues and music ducking. Turn it off just as easily if you prefer clean silence between tones.

Workout history

Every completed run is saved on-device — no account, no cloud. The History screen shows your current streak, total sessions, and total minutes trained in the last 7 days. Sessions are listed by day and can be deleted individually.

The Finish screen tells you how many times you've completed that specific workout, so a growing count becomes its own quiet motivation.

Export your history as CSV NEW IN 1.1

Tap the share icon in the History screen to export your full session log as a .csv file. Open it in Numbers, Excel, or Google Sheets, or email it to your coach. Each row contains the date, time, workout name, total duration (in seconds and mm:ss), rounds completed, and sets completed.

Privacy shape

Intervo is fully local. No account, no analytics SDKs, no tracking, no network calls. Your workouts, sessions, and preferences are stored in SwiftData and UserDefaults on your device. The developer does not receive any of this data.
