Hangcraft: Picture Hanging Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026. This policy explains how Hangcraft handles your data.
Data Handling
Hangcraft is an on-device utility. Walls, frames, pindrops, and any stud-spacing measurements you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is sent to any server.
Camera
Camera access is used only for ARKit real-time vertical-plane detection. The camera feed is processed locally and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Tracking and Third Parties
Hangcraft does not track users across apps or websites. It contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and makes no network calls.
Permissions
Camera permission is requested only when you open the AR pindrop feature. You can change this at any time in the iOS Settings app under Hangcraft.
Exports and Sharing
When you use the Share Plan feature, Hangcraft passes a plain-text summary of your nail positions to the iOS share sheet. The data goes only to whichever app or contact you choose — Hangcraft itself does not transmit it.
