Flipperledger support
Keep the service memory intact.
Flipperledger is designed to work without an account or network connection. The answers below cover the most common data and workflow questions.
How do I back up my garage?
Open a machine, choose Evidence, and generate Garage JSON. Use the system share sheet to save the validated archive to a destination you control. The app displays a SHA-256 checksum for the exact generated file.
How do I restore an archive?
From the Service bay, choose the import icon and select a Flipperledger JSON archive. The app validates the schema, unique identifiers, meter ordering, and atlas references before replacing the local archive.
What CSV columns can I import?
The required headers are machine, opened_at, title, component, symptom, and state. Optional headers are meter and note. Dates use ISO 8601, and enum labels must match the choices shown in the app. Invalid rows are reported and are not silently accepted.
Does Flipperledger diagnose a machine?
No. Flipperledger records user observations, work, parts, meters, and verification. It does not connect to or control a machine, provide repair procedures, certify a repair, assess safety, or verify part compatibility.
Why does the app include sample machines?
The two invented samples show a complete service-memory workflow immediately. They do not use third-party machine names, artwork, manuals, or repair instructions. You can edit the samples or add your own machines.
Photo and privacy questions
The optional photo control uses Apple's system Photos picker. Flipperledger receives only the image you select and does not request broad library access. Read the full privacy policy.
Contact support
Include the app version, device model, iOS version, and the exact steps that produced the issue. Do not send a garage archive unless you intentionally choose to share it.
