Fanswell Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 17, 2026. This policy explains how Fanswell handles your data.
Data Handling
Fanswell is designed as a fully on-device utility. All channels, audience snapshots, post entries, goals, milestone records, and settings are stored locally on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults. None of this data is transmitted to any server at any time. Fanswell makes zero network connections.
Information You Enter
The app stores the numbers you type in manually — your audience counts, post metrics (views, likes, comments, shares, saves), notes, and goal targets. This information never leaves your device through Fanswell. It is included in your device's standard iCloud or local backup like any other app data.
CSV Export
When you export data using "Export snapshots as CSV" or "Export posts as CSV" in Settings, Fanswell writes a temporary file to your device's local temporary directory and presents it through the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes. Fanswell does not see, log, or retain anything about what you do with exported files.
Notifications
Fanswell can send one optional weekly local notification reminding you to log your numbers. This feature is off by default and permission is only requested when you explicitly turn it on in Settings. The notification is scheduled locally on your device — no notification server or push token is involved. Fanswell uses this permission for nothing else.
Tracking and Third Parties
Fanswell does not track users across apps or websites. The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no crash-reporting tools that transmit data off-device, and no social media integrations. It does not connect to any platform's API.
Permissions
Fanswell does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, photo library, or any other device sensor. The only system permission the app ever requests is local notification delivery, and only when you opt in to the weekly reminder.
Children
Fanswell does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Because all data is entered manually and stored locally, no personal information is collected regardless of the user's age.
