DocUpick keeps capture simple and local.
DocUpick does not require an account, does not track you, and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information DocUpick uses
DocUpick uses the camera when you choose to scan a document or take a picture of something with text. The app uses photo library access when you choose to import existing photos or save the original captured image to your camera roll.
Text recognition
DocUpick uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to recognize text in images. The app does not send your images or notes to a developer server for OCR processing.
Local notes
Captured notes, page images, folders, tags, and preferences are stored locally in the app container on your device. Deleting the app removes its locally stored notes and app data.
Expiry reminders and notifications
When you set an expiry date on a note, DocUpick schedules a local notification on your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework. Reminder dates are stored locally in the app's data. No notification content or scheduling information is sent to a server.
Sharing and export
DocUpick exports PDFs or shares note text only when you choose a system share or export action. Those actions are handled by iOS.
No tracking
DocUpick does not track users across apps or websites, does not use third-party advertising SDKs, and does not sell user data.
