CLAW Agent Builder Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 17, 2026. This policy explains how CLAW Agent Builder (version 3.1) handles data.
Data Handling
CLAW Agent Builder does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on servers controlled by us. It has no account system, no analytics, and no tracking. Generated agent files are written only into folders you explicitly pick.
API Keys You Enter
Provider and channel keys you type are held in the app’s own local storage on your Mac. They are sent over the network only to the provider you selected (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, or Mistral) and only when you tap “Test key” to validate them. The generated environment file is safe-by-default: it contains blank placeholder names unless you deliberately turn on the option to include real values, in which case those values are written only into the export folder you chose.
Information You Choose
The app may store content you create, including agent settings, founder-questionnaire answers, and saved drafts. That information remains under your control on your Mac unless you use macOS sharing, export, backup, or cloud-sync features outside the app. Treat any export folder that contains real keys as a secret.
Tracking and Third Parties
CLAW Agent Builder does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not track you across apps or websites. The only outbound network use is the optional provider key validation described above.
Permissions
The app is sandboxed and requests only user-selected file read/write access (for writing the generated workspace into a folder you choose) and outbound network access (for the optional “Test key” check). It does not run shell commands, does not automate Terminal, and does not modify your OpenClaw install.
