ChirpHound

ChirpHound does not collect personal data, does not track users, does not show ads, and does not require an account.

Data collection

The developer does not receive your audio, hunt history, settings, device content, or personal information. Saved hunts and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Permissions

Microphone access is used only when you start a hunt. Audio buffers are analyzed on device to estimate chirp strength and timing. The app does not record, upload, or store microphone audio.

Tracking, ads, and network use

No third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking domains, or developer backend are included in version 1.0. The app does not upload hunt data.
