CellArc Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026. This policy explains how CellArc handles data.
Summary
CellArc collects no personal data, has no account system, makes no network requests, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. All battery logs, session records, and settings stay on your device.
Data Stored on Your Device
CellArc stores the following data locally using SwiftData and UserDefaults:
- Battery level snapshots (timestamp, level, charging state, thermal state)
- Charging session records (start, end, level range, thermal peak)
- Daily rollup summaries (drain, cycle estimate, thermal exposure)
- App-hog drain session labels you enter manually
- Cable diagnostic test results you run manually
- Your selected iPhone model and preference settings
- Store-mode reminder dates and labels you enter
None of this data is transmitted to any server, synced to any cloud service by CellArc, or shared with any third party by CellArc. If you use iCloud Backup, iCloud Drive, or iTunes backup, Apple's standard backup policies apply to any data those services copy from your device — that is outside CellArc's control.
Information You Choose to Export
CellArc 1.1 adds export features in Settings. When you tap an export action, iOS presents a share sheet. Any file you send using that share sheet is under your control. CellArc does not retain a copy of exported files and does not know where you send them.
Local Notifications
CellArc may request permission to send local notifications for optional smart battery alerts (low longevity score, extended top-off, deep discharge) and the optional store-mode reminder. These notifications are scheduled on-device and do not require a network connection. No notification content is transmitted to any server.
Tracking and Third Parties
CellArc does not track users across apps or websites. CellArc does not use any third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or social SDK. There are no embedded trackers.
Permissions
CellArc uses no location, camera, microphone, contacts, or HealthKit permissions. Battery monitoring uses Apple's standard UIDevice and ProcessInfo APIs, which do not require a user permission prompt. Local notifications are optional and only enabled if you grant permission.
Children
CellArc does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing specific to age-gate.
