Common Questions
How do I get started?
Enter the day's sales and drawer activity on Today, use Count & Close for denominations, review the difference, then save the close to Ledger.
Does the app need an account or internet connection?
No. The app works without an account and has no developer-operated backend, advertising, or analytics.
Where is my information stored?
Your business and register labels, manual sales totals, opening and expected cash, paid-ins, paid-outs, denomination counts, differences, notes, and saved daily closes are stored locally in the app on your device.
What happens when I share a report?
The app creates the report locally and presents the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is uploaded by the developer; you choose the destination.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual records where the app provides that control. Deleting the app from your device removes its local app data.
What does the app not do?
CashDaybook is a manual reconciliation aid. It does not connect to a bank, payment processor, point-of-sale system, accounting service, or tax authority and does not provide accounting or tax advice.
