CashDaybook Privacy Policy
Effective July 12, 2026. This policy explains how CashDaybook handles information.
Summary
CashDaybook does not collect data, track you, show ads, require an account, or use a developer-operated backend. The developer does not sell or share personal information from the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app stores the information you choose to enter, including business and register labels, manual sales totals, opening and expected cash, paid-ins, paid-outs, denomination counts, differences, notes, and saved daily closes. This information remains in the app's local storage on your device and is not transmitted to the developer.
Sharing and Exports
If you choose a text or PDF share control, the report is created on your device and passed to Apple's system share sheet. You select the receiving app, person, or storage location. CashDaybook does not upload the report.
Permissions and Network Access
Version 1.0 does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library. It makes no developer network requests and contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK.
Retention and Deletion
Local records remain on your device until you delete them through available app controls or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior controlled by you and Apple.
Product Scope
CashDaybook is a manual reconciliation aid. It does not connect to a bank, payment processor, point-of-sale system, accounting service, or tax authority and does not provide accounting or tax advice.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user because no information is transmitted to the developer.
Changes
If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version is released.
