Wattmargin Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026. This policy explains how Wattmargin handles information.
Summary
Wattmargin does not collect data, track users, show ads, require an account, or use a developer-operated backend. The developer does not sell or share personal information from the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
Backup-source specifications, appliance loads, duty cycles, priorities, circuit notes, readiness checklists, plans, and settings are stored locally in the app on your device. They are not transmitted to the developer.
Sharing and Exports
When you choose to share an outage plan, the PDF is created on your device and passed to Apple's system share sheet. You select the destination.
Permissions and Network Access
Version 1.0 requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo-library permission. It makes no developer network requests and includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK.
Retention and Deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app, subject to iOS backup behavior controlled by you and Apple.
Children's Privacy
No personal information is knowingly collected from children or any other user because no information is transmitted to the developer.
Changes
If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
