Water Tracker for Dummies privacy policy
Water Tracker for Dummies does not collect personal data from users.
- No account creation
- No analytics SDK
- No advertising or tracking
- No user-generated public content
- No network connection — the app works fully offline
Water records and preferences — including your daily goal, chosen units, goal-calculator inputs, reminder settings, color notes, and any retroactively added past-day entries — are stored locally on your device so the app can total your daily intake and show your history and personal bests.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. If you enable them, the app asks for notification permission; no reminder data is sent anywhere. The app functions normally if you decline.
Export is entirely under your control. When you choose to export a JSON or CSV backup, the app creates a file and hands it to the system share sheet so you can decide where it goes. The app never uploads your data on its own.
Water Tracker for Dummies provides general wellness information only. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any condition. The goal calculator, hydration index, routine coach, catch-up advisor, and color note are educational estimates based on published guidelines. Use qualified guidance for personal health concerns.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
