Common Questions
How do I get started?
Open Clock to start or enter a shift. Review Pay Period for estimated gross earnings, then use Stub Check when a pay stub arrives.
Does the app need an account or internet connection?
No. The app works without an account and has no developer-operated backend, advertising, or analytics.
Where is my information stored?
Your shift times, break durations, pay rates, overtime settings, tips, pay-period totals, and pay-stub comparison values are stored locally in the app on your device.
What happens when I share a report?
The app creates the report locally and presents the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is uploaded by the developer; you choose the destination.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual records where the app provides that control. Deleting the app from your device removes its local app data.
What does the app not do?
WageTrail provides estimates from values you enter. It does not connect to an employer, payroll provider, bank, or tax service and does not provide tax, legal, or payroll advice.
