Tristimulus: Color Lab Privacy Policy
Effective July 19, 2026. This policy explains how Tristimulus handles information.
Summary
Tristimulus does not collect data, track you, show ads, require an account, or use a developer-operated backend. The developer does not sell or share personal information from the app.
Information on Your Device
The app may store color values, saved conversions, palettes, LUT settings, and preferences. These records remain in the app's local container and are not transmitted to the developer.
Device Permissions
The current version does not request camera, microphone, contacts, health, or location access.
Sharing and Exports
When you choose a share or export control, content is created locally and passed to an Apple system interface. You choose the destination. The developer does not receive the export.
Network Access and Third Parties
The app has no developer-operated account service, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking SDK, or crash-reporting SDK. A clearly labeled external reference link may open a website only when you choose it; that website is governed by its own policy.
Retention and Deletion
Local information remains until you delete it with available controls or remove the app. Apple-managed device backups are controlled by your Apple settings.
Product Scope
Color results depend on source profiles, displays, instruments, and workflows; verify critical production output with calibrated equipment.
Children's Privacy
No personal information is knowingly collected from children or any other user because the app transmits no user data to the developer.
Changes
This policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before a future release changes these practices.
