Common Questions

How do I get started?
Enter the pool and roster on Split, choose the allocation method, verify the payout board, then save or share the allocation sheet.

Does the app need an account or internet connection?
No. The app works without an account and has no developer-operated backend, advertising, or analytics.

Where is my information stored?
Your shift labels, participant names, hours, points, inclusion choices, tip-pool amounts, allocation results, and saved sheets are stored locally in the app on your device.

What happens when I share a report?
The app creates the report locally and presents the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is uploaded by the developer; you choose the destination.

How do I delete my data?
Delete individual records where the app provides that control. Deleting the app from your device removes its local app data.

What does the app not do?
TipRoster is a calculation and recordkeeping aid. It does not process payments, run payroll, determine legal eligibility, or replace workplace policy and applicable labor rules.
