Signalcraft Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 20, 2026. This policy explains how Signalcraft handles data.
Data Collection
Signalcraft does not collect personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking, and no developer server. There is no networking code in the app of any kind.
No Microphone, No Camera
Signalcraft does not request or use the microphone or the camera. It plays Morse tones and spoken phonetics through your speaker and generates a synchronized screen flash and haptic pulse — it never records audio or captures images.
Local Storage
Signalcraft stores app preferences locally on your device, such as your last broadcast message, words-per-minute speed, the tone, flash, and haptic toggles, and your best drill streak. This information stays on the device and is never transmitted.
Bundled Content
The Morse audio, spoken phonetic pronunciations, signal-flag artwork, and Beaufort sea-state imagery are all bundled inside the app. They are used entirely offline and never require a network connection.
Tracking and Third Parties
Signalcraft does not track users across apps or websites, does not include third-party analytics SDKs, and does not use advertising identifiers.
Exports and Sharing
Signalcraft does not upload your data. Any iOS system features you choose to use, such as backups or screenshots, are controlled by iOS and the services you select, not by Signalcraft.
Safety Disclaimer
Signalcraft is an educational reference and training tool for Morse code and other signaling systems. It is not a certified emergency device. In a real emergency, rely on proper signaling equipment and contact the appropriate authorities whenever possible.
Children
Signalcraft does not collect any data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads or external links.
