SignalCrafter Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026. This policy explains how SignalCrafter handles data.
Data Collection
SignalCrafter does not collect personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking, and no developer server.
No Protected Permissions
SignalCrafter does not request camera, microphone recording, location, photos, contacts, HealthKit, Bluetooth, or motion permissions. It plays tones and spoken phonetics through the speaker, uses haptics for pulse feedback, and uses the screen for Morse flash.
Local Storage
SignalCrafter stores app preferences locally on your device, such as your last Morse message, WPM speed, tone/flash/haptic choices, repeat settings, hoist message, and best drill streak. This information stays on the device and is not transmitted by SignalCrafter.
Bundled Content
Morse references, phonetic references, signal-flag artwork, drills, and Beaufort reference content are bundled inside the app for offline use.
Tracking and Third Parties
SignalCrafter does not track users across apps or websites, does not include third-party analytics SDKs, and does not use advertising identifiers.
Safety Disclaimer
SignalCrafter is an educational reference and training tool. It is not a certified emergency beacon, marine radio, aircraft signal device, or substitute for official procedures or proper emergency equipment.
Children
SignalCrafter does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads.
