Rainy Days Scheduler privacy policy

Rainy Days Scheduler is designed to provide weather-aware schedule guidance without accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

  • No account creation
  • No advertising SDK
  • No analytics SDK
  • No sale of personal data
  • No tracking across apps or websites

Schedule events, preferences, saved locations, imported calendar events, dismissed suggestions, and cached forecasts are stored locally on your device using Apple system storage (UserDefaults).

If you allow current-location access, the app uses your latitude and longitude to request a local forecast from Open-Meteo. You can avoid location permission by choosing a city manually in Settings.

If you choose to import iOS Calendar events, Rainy Days Scheduler requests calendar access and imports upcoming event details into the app so it can check weather conflicts. Calendar import is optional and read-only. No calendar data leaves your device.

Local notifications are used only for event reminders and morning weather briefings you enable. No notification content is sent to any server.

CSV and PDF exports are generated entirely on-device and shared only when you explicitly tap the share button. No export data is sent anywhere automatically.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
