iPhone & iPad · Version 1.2

PracticePocket

Tiny drills, steady progress. Plan short practice blocks for music, language, sport, or craft — then let a spaced-repetition scheduler resurface each drill on the right day and log every session you complete. Fully offline.

Who It Is For

Self-directed learners who want repeatable practice blocks instead of another course app — musicians running scales, language learners drilling vocabulary, athletes refining form, makers warming up. Keep each drill small enough to actually start, and let PracticePocket handle the timing.

Fully Offline

No account. No ads. No analytics. No network access. Every drill, every logged session, and every export lives on your device, stored locally. Your practice data is yours.

What's New in 1.2

Core Features

Spaced-Repetition Scheduler New in 1.2

Turn on review for a drill and PracticePocket schedules it with SM-2: a first "Good" waits 1 day, then 6, then multiplies the gap by an adapting ease factor. "Again" restarts the cycle so the material comes back soon. See everything due today and your full upcoming schedule at a glance.

Practice Session Log New in 1.2

Record minutes, a mood, and a note for any practice block. PracticePocket totals your minutes, builds your day streak, tracks your longest streak, and shows your average minutes per active day — all on device.

Drill Library

Add, edit, search, sort, and filter every drill. Group by category (Music, Language, Sport, Craft, Review), set a focus value and a due date, and capture notes for future-you.

Today Dashboard

A smart brief surfaces what's due for review, your streak and weekly minutes, and how export-ready your records are. Quick templates and a quality score live in the Toolkit tab.

Exports You'll Actually Use

Share a clean text practice card (now including your streak and totals), a drills CSV, or the new practice-log CSV — for backup, a spreadsheet, or a coach.

Offline Reference

"How spaced repetition works" covers the SM-2 method, the classic 1-3-7-14-30 fixed schedule, and why short, frequent drills win — with sources, no internet required.

Honest by Design

PracticePocket is an organization utility. It helps you plan, time, and review your own practice — it does not provide coaching, medical, athletic, or academic guarantees. The scheduling is based on published spaced-repetition research, cited inside the app.

Sources

Spaced-repetition scheduling follows SM-2 (SuperMemo 2, P. Woźniak, 1987). The fixed-interval reference uses the classic Leitner 1-3-7-14-30 schedule. Practice guidance draws on deliberate-practice research (A. Ericsson).
