Pill Scape keeps medication routines local.
Pill Scape does not require an account, does not track you, and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information Pill Scape uses
Pill Scape stores medication names, strengths, forms, notes, color tags, alarm schedules, reminder preferences, optional label photos, inventory counts, refill thresholds, care-readiness checklist state derived from those local records, and self-reported dose history locally on your device.
Photos and text recognition
Pill Scape uses photo access only when you choose a medication label image. Text recognition runs on device with Apple's Vision framework. The app does not send label photos or recognized text to a developer server.
Notifications
Pill Scape can schedule local reminders when you enable notifications. Reminder scheduling happens on your device.
Sharing and exports
Pill Scape can build a medication summary, care checklist, PDF report, medication CSV, and dose-history CSV. These documents are generated on your device from data you entered, written to a temporary file, and handed to the iOS share sheet. They are sent only to the destination you choose.
Medical information
Medication details entered into Pill Scape remain in the app's local storage unless you choose to share them through iOS. Pill Scape is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or medication dosage calculations.
No tracking
Pill Scape does not track users across apps or websites, does not use third-party advertising SDKs, and does not sell user data.
