Swipe & Tap Gestures New in 1.4
Play with natural touch gestures anywhere on the board. Swipe left or right to move a letter, swipe down to soft-drop, flick down fast to hard-drop, swipe up or tap to rotate a pair piece. The on-screen button row remains as a fallback. Toggle in Settings.
Vocabulary Export New in 1.4
Tap the share icon in your Vocabulary Journal to export your entire word list. Choose words-only, words with language origins annotated, or a CSV ready for spreadsheets or flashcard apps like Anki. All on-device, no network required.
Score Trend Chart New in 1.4
Your Stats screen now shows a sparkline of your last 20 sessions alongside the peak score and session average. See at a glance whether your vocabulary strategy is paying off across any mode.
Eight Modes
Marathon, Sprint, Zen, Daily Folio, Lexicon, Master, Crossword, and Polyglot give the same letter engine eight different rhythms and rule sets.
Etymology Scoring
Words earn multipliers by origin tier — from Old English at 1× up to Indigenous loans at 5×. Hunting the rarer tiers turns vocabulary into strategy.
Ghost Piece Preview
A translucent copy of each falling letter shows its landing position. Plan longer words, set up chain clears, and read a crowded board clearly. Toggle off in Settings if you prefer the original feel.
Word Definitions
Tap any word in your Vocabulary Journal to see its definition, etymology tier, scoring multiplier, and related words from the same language family. Over 200 loanword definitions stored on-device.
Vocabulary Journal
Every word you clear is saved locally with its origin tier, score, and definition. Browse, search, filter by etymology tier, or sort by score. Export your full list at any time.
Local Progress
Stats, score trend, per-mode personal bests, daily streak, and 32 achievements are all saved on device. Inkfalls never tracks you, never asks for an account, and never shows ads.
