Halyard Support

Help for Halyard signal flags, semaphore, Morse, phonetics, quizzes, and Signal Deck.

Compose a hoist

Open Hoist, choose Compose, and type a word or short message. Halyard renders supported letters and numerals as a vertical flag hoist read top to bottom.

Decode a hoist

Switch to Decode and tap flags to build a hoist. The decoded text appears above the picker.

Signal Deck

The Signal Deck card appears below the composer/decode controls. It shows counts, phonetic coverage, priority notes, and a recommended drill for the current hoist.

Save or share

Use Save Image or Share on the Hoist screen. Photo-library access is requested only when saving the generated image.

Reference sources

Open Reference, then Sources, for links to the standards used by the app.
