Curdphase: Cheese Cave Privacy

Summary

Curdphase does not collect data, track users, show ads, require an account, use subscriptions or in-app purchases, or use a developer-operated backend. The developer does not sell or share personal information from the app. Curdphase is not connected to other apps and does not share records with them.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores information you choose to enter, including cheese make names, milk type and volume, culture and rennet notes, measured pH and temperature observations, wheel weights, salt targets, cave dates, care tasks, and tasting notes. This information remains in local app storage on your device and is not transmitted to the developer.

Sharing and Exports

If you create a cave brief PDF, it is generated locally and passed to Apple's system share sheet. You choose the destination. The app does not upload the packet to the developer.

Permissions and Network Access

Version 2.0 does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library, or notification permission. It makes no developer network requests and contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK.

Retention and Deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting the app removes local app data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior controlled by you and Apple. The same privacy statement is available in the app under Guide and Cave settings.

Product Scope

Curdphase organizes user-entered cheesemaking records and arithmetic. It does not validate a recipe, assess pathogens, certify pH meters, determine food safety, or replace current qualified dairy, sanitation, aging, and regulatory guidance.
