ChoreOrbit Support

Help, troubleshooting, and contact information for ChoreOrbit.

Getting Started

Open the Info tab and add the people in your household under Household members. Then tap Add Chore, give it a title, choose how often it repeats, and pick two or more members to rotate it between. The person on "Turn 1" is up next.

Recurring & Rotating

When a recurring chore is marked done, ChoreOrbit reschedules it to its next occurrence and hands it to the next person in the rotation automatically. Use "Done & rotate" on the Today card, or swipe a row in the Library.

Common Questions

Does the app require an account?
No. ChoreOrbit is designed for local, private use on your device — no sign-in required.

Does the app need internet?
No. Everything works offline. There are no network calls, no cloud sync, and no third-party services.

How does rotation work?
A chore can carry an ordered list of household members. Completing the chore advances the turn to the next person and wraps back to the first — a fair round-robin.

What does the fairness score mean?
It compares completed-chore counts across members. 100% is a perfectly even split; the label drops to "Mostly balanced", "Getting lopsided", or "One person carrying it" as the split widens.

What happens when I delete a household member?
They are removed from every rotation they were part of, and the turn order stays valid for the remaining members.

Can I change how often a chore repeats?
Yes. Open the chore in the Library and change Repeats to One-off, Every day, Every N days, Every week, Every 2 weeks, or Every month.

How do I export my data?
In the Export tab, share a plain-text summary, a full CSV of every chore, or a workload-balance CSV showing each person's completed and open chores.

Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on your device. You can restore the sample data anytime from the Info tab.

How do I remove the app?
Delete it from your Home Screen. iOS removes all app data when you delete the app.
