Common Questions

Does the app require an account or internet connection?
No. Caption Forge works locally for drafting, scoring, readiness checks, saved captions, and reference tools.

Where is my data stored?
Saved captions, drafts, tone samples, and preferences are stored on your device. Exported files go wherever you choose to save or send them.

What changed in version 2.1?
Version 2.1 adds Publish Readiness, priority fixes, readiness checks, a final-post checklist, refreshed metadata, and new test coverage.

How does Publish Readiness work?
It combines the app's existing on-device analyzers: hook strength, reader action, hashtag density, platform fit, readability, and Forge Score. The result is a practical preflight checklist for the selected platform.

Why can a caption score well but still need fixes?
A caption may be clear but over the selected platform length, or it may have strong writing but no reader action. Ready highlights those launch-specific issues before posting.
