Does the app need an account, subscription, or in-app purchase?
No. Backburn is a one-time paid download. The full game is included and no account is required.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Gameplay and bundled content work on the device without a developer-operated service.
Where is progress stored?
Your scenario progress, outcomes, records, and settings remain in the app's local storage.
How do I remove local data?
Use an available reset or delete control. Removing the app removes its local container, subject to backups you control through Apple.
What are the limits?
Backburn is an educational strategy game, not an operational fire-prediction or emergency-response tool. Follow official authorities during a real wildfire.
