Some people can't work in silence and can't work with music either. Stillgrove is for the in-between: a Mac menu-bar sound mixer that builds a background you can think under. Tap a sound to start it, tap a few more to layer them, and slide each one to the level you want — brown noise under soft rain, a campfire with distant wind, or ocean waves on their own.
There are 24 sounds built in, grouped into noise, rain, water, air, fire, and ambient textures, plus ten ready-made presets if you'd rather not build from scratch. When you land on a mix you like, save it, name it, and bring it back with a single click. Everything lives in the menu bar, so you adjust it without leaving the work in front of you.
Alongside the audio there is a set of quiet routine tools: a sleep and focus timer that fades out on its own, a Pomodoro-style work-and-break timer, a session log with notes, and a daily scheduler for the mixes you return to. The Focus Report reads your completed sessions back to you as a routine score, total and average time, your top mixes, the time of day you tend to focus, and a few practical next steps — copyable as Markdown for a weekly review.
Every sound is original and bundled in the app, so there is nothing to stream and nothing to download. Stillgrove collects no data, runs no analytics, and never connects to the internet. It works entirely offline, which seems like a fair thing to expect from an app whose whole job is to leave you alone.

Version 2.1 adds Focus Report, a local review surface for your completed focus sessions. It turns session history into a routine score, total time, average duration, top mixes, daypart pattern, note coverage, enabled schedules, and practical next actions. Copy the report as Markdown for a weekly review or personal work log.
