If you build AI agents, most of the work happens before the agent ever runs. The config, the environment file, the memory scaffold, the setup notes — someone has to write all of it and keep it consistent. Agent Forge Builder is a Mac app for that stage. You describe the workspace you want in plain English, and it assembles the files for you to review.

You shape the agent's identity, focus, tools, channels, data sources, provider settings, daily prompts, and founder context through a guided, step-by-step flow instead of hand-editing configuration files. The app generates a structured package — readable Markdown, environment placeholders, memory scaffolds, setup notes, and a launch brief — and lets you inspect all of it before anything is written to disk. Provider keys stay optional, treated as warnings rather than hard blockers, and the generated .env.example ships with safe placeholders instead of real secrets.

The Launch Readiness Brief scores the finished package, maps its core capabilities, and separates the problems you must fix from the warnings you can note and move past. It ends with a practical checklist for the next handoff, exported as a LAUNCH_BRIEF.md you can pass along with the rest. Drafts save locally so you can leave a workspace and pick it back up, and you decide where the finished package exports — the desktop or a folder of your own.

It is made for operators, builders, researchers, and small teams who want a clean, repeatable way to produce agent handoff files before wiring them into their own runtime. The app needs no account, and includes no analytics, ads, or tracking, and no access to your camera, microphone, location, or contacts.

About Agent Forge Builder

Agent Forge Builder helps you design an agent workspace in plain English, review the generated files, and export a complete handoff package from your Mac.

Shape the agent's identity, focus, tools, channels, data sources, provider settings, daily prompts, and founder context without hand-editing configuration files. The app generates a structured workspace package with readable Markdown, environment placeholders, memory scaffolds, setup notes, and a launch brief you can inspect before writing anything out.

Version 3.2 adds a Launch Readiness Brief that scores the package, maps core capabilities, separates blockers from warnings, and creates a practical checklist for the next handoff. The preview page is now easier to reach because provider keys are treated as optional warnings instead of hard blockers.

Highlights:
- Guided step-by-step agent workspace builder
- Launch readiness score with blockers, warnings, and notes
- Exportable LAUNCH_BRIEF.md with capability map and handoff checklist
- Provider and data-source setup without exposing real keys
- Generated .env.example with safe placeholders by default
- Local draft saving and reload workflow
- Desktop or custom-folder export path
- No account required inside the app
- No analytics, ads, tracking, camera, microphone, location, or contacts access

Agent Forge Builder is made for operators, builders, researchers, and small teams who want a clean, repeatable way to assemble agent handoff files before applying them to their own runtime environment.
